About Freedom Kidz Ministry

Freedom Kidz is a ministry designed to help children develop a loving, personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  We focus on building healthy bodies, minds, and spirits through fun-filled activities, dynamic Bible studies, prayer, games, and fellowship in a safe environment where every child knows the answer is “Jesus!”

Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it. Proverbs 22:6

Today’s world is tough on children, with issues like abandonment, isolation, lack of guidance, and bullying weighing heavy on their small shoulders. Freedom Kidz is a ministry passionate about teaching children how to build a relationship with God and live out His will for their lives.  We do this several ways: 

Freedom Kidz (Sunday at 11:00 a.m.)

We begin every service with dynamic worship led by children, followed by a sermon taught through puppet shows, illustrated sermons, and interaction with the kids.  The children are taught to demonstrate their knowledge through expressive worship, multimedia projects, talent shows, cooking classes, world missions, show and tell, and much more.  We recognize that children are individuals, and we work hard to build upon their unique interests and talents.  We welcome you to bring your children to the KidZone at the 11:00 a.m. announcement, and pick them up immediately after the service.  We look forward to serving you and your family.

Mid-Week Encounter (check calendar for schedule)

These small-group settings are geared toward learning God’s word through life applications, and often include arts and crafts activities.

Freedom Kidz is designed to enrich our children’s lives all year round.  We reach out to children citywide with events like Vacation Bible School and Freedom Church Easter Egg Hunt. 

Freedom Kidz ministry offers parents and guardians an opportunity to enjoy classes and services at Freedom Church without the distraction of caring for their children.
